YetiCrafts participated at Whitehorse Spring Festival 2015 as a Market stall holder. The spring festival was held on beautiful spring Sunday 18th Oct at the premise of Whitehorse Civic Centre, Nunawading.
Spring Festival is an annual free, fun-filled day that celebrates our vibrant community in Whitehorse, about 25kms east of Melbourne. With this year’s theme “explore the imaginative world of storytelling through children’s books”,the festival was organized around children’s play activities, adventures, music, stalls, foods and a lots of fun. It was a great outing day for whole family. Estimate of ten thousand people came to visit and enjoy the activities throughout the day.
With mission to become a house-hold brand name for quality handmade arts and crafts, YetiCrafts would like to continue attend such a big community festival where the people can come and see our products in person. About thousands people passed through the YetiCrafts stall and hundreds came in to look at the displayed products ranging from Nepalese cashmere Pashmina to Thai canvas paintings to Lokta papers to Allo items to Woolen beanies to beautiful Tote bags to variety of necklaces. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that few people actually knew/heard about YetiCrafts before. Although we participated mainly for YetiCrafts promotion, we managed to sell some items. People also played our game for winning fabulous handmade prizes.
Overall the experience was wonderful, and these experiences will continue help us to further fine tune our approach to make our products and services more accessible and well-known among the local community.
YetiCrafts would like to thank the festival organizers for hassle-free participation for us as well as to all the people who came to visit our stall.
